We're Lauren and Ashley, creative BFF's living in the middle of the map in a great land called Kansas City. We work together in a lot of creative ways, like our Total Game Changer projects. So many people want photography but aren't here in Kansas City with us. While building websites we found there was a lack of stock photography that is well-styled, high-quality, affordable and has negative space.

We had an 'ah-ha!' moment when we figured out we could create what we wish existed. So, being the problem solvers that we are, we decided to build the very thing we needed... we are The Stock Girls.

Lauren is the owner and creative brains behind Lauren Pusateri Photography. She's a Mizzou grad who's been hustlin' with her own photography business for 10+ years. She's a lover of making her own light, sharp AF images and believes photography isn't meant to sit in a frame on your mantle. She works with businesses big and small to produce badass photography from headshots to advertisements, products to branded images, she does it all.

Ok... here's a pet peeve of ours... "reposting" someone else's original content, writing a big long post (that is all about you and your business) and burying credit to the owner of the image/graphic to the original creator somewhere deep in the caption. 😣 Um, no thank you. 🙅🏽‍♀️Now, there's nothing wrong with a "regram" or "repost" in our eyes, IF you're cheering on the original creator or the purpose of the post is to share their work. That's how a lot of accounts grow a following pretty quickly. However, if you're using another accounts content to promote your own agenda - that's just not cool. All the 🙄🙄🙄. We are well aware that IP theft comes in all shapes and sizes but you know what phrase rings pretty true to us... "imitation is the sincerest form of laziness". Now now now, before you go all wondering who we are talking about - we're just talking to everyone. This happens to us and others all the time. This isn't passive aggressive - this is just creating awareness to an issue that exists right here on this platform everyday. The best way to avoid it is creating original content. The end. 🌈💗

There's this mysterious word that gets thrown around like confetti lately... CONTENT. 🤔 It's so broad and very vague. And, it seems as though people define it in a lot of different ways. 😬 "We need content!" Here's how we define this all-encompassing word. ➡️ Content is the combination of three things. 1. Something visual (ie. photo, video, graphic, illustration) placed with 2. Something written (ie. copy, caption, blog post, status update) deployed on 3. a digital platform of some kind (ie. Instagram, Facebook, blog, website, etc.). 😳 Whoa. Based on that, what ISN'T content? So, when someone comes to us using the illusive and vague word we have to ask some questions to figure out what they really want. 🤔 We create content in all shapes, sizes and forms. The bigger question to ask is... "What is your end goal?" - and from there we can determine what type of content best helps you achieve those goals. 🔥💪🏼⚡️
